SkyForge Innovations is seeking a Pleno Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy data-driven solutions that support advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and large-scale system optimization. This role requires strong experience with data science tools, statistical modeling, machine learning, distributed systems, and modern cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and deploy machine learning models, predictive algorithms, and statistical analyses to support business decisions.

Build scalable data pipelines and processing workflows using modern data engineering tools.

Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and model evaluation.

Implement and optimize distributed data processing solutions (Spark, Databricks, BigQuery, EMR).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business problems into data-driven solutions.

Integrate models into production systems via APIs, microservices, or model-serving platforms.

Follow best practices for reproducibility, versioning, testing, and documentation.

Implement observability for ML systems (monitor drift, model performance, data quality).

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pleno Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or similar role.

Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, PySpark).

Experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and evaluation metrics.

Experience with cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and working with distributed data systems.

Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and containerized environments (Docker).

Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for data science workflows.

Experience with model deployment (SageMaker, Vertex AI, MLflow, etc.).

Nice to Have

Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).

Experience with real-time inference, streaming data, and high-throughput pipelines.

Knowledge of infrastructure tools (Terraform, Kubernetes).

Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and causal inference.

Familiarity with advanced monitoring tools for ML systems (EvidentlyAI, WhyLabs, Datadog).
