About the Role

PulseWave Labs is seeking a Pleno Technical Lead to guide engineering teams, design scalable architectures, and develop high-performance technology solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and experience working in cloud-native and distributed environments.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions.

Provide technical guidance to developers and ensure engineering best practices are followed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, QA, DevOps) to deliver production-ready systems.

Oversee systems performance, reliability, observability, and automation.

Participate in architectural reviews, code reviews, and technical planning.

Define and improve coding standards, development workflows, and CI/CD processes.

Ensure system security and compliance across all stages of development.

Support issue resolution, technical decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or similar leadership role (Pleno level).

Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, C#, etc.).

Experience designing and managing distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud architectures.

Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling.

Experience with containerized environments (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Proficiency with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Nice to Have

Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Familiarity with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation.

Experience with advanced monitoring, observability, and APM tools.

Previous experience working in distributed, global remote teams.

Knowledge of security practices (OWASP, IAM, zero-trust principles).
