Senior Mobile Engineer

About the Role

SkyForge Innovations is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to design, develop, and optimize high-performance mobile applications. This role requires expertise in mobile development (iOS, Android, or cross-platform), strong architectural skills, and experience building scalable, reliable systems in cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance mobile applications.

Develop new features, systems, and services for iOS, Android, or cross-platform environments (React Native, Flutter).

Build and integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL) with backend and distributed systems.

Optimize application performance, memory usage, responsiveness, and battery efficiency.

Implement CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications, automated deployments, and testing workflows.

Ensure observability through monitoring, logs, crash reporting, and analytics.

Conduct code reviews, propose architectural improvements, and follow engineering best practices.

Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams across distributed remote environments.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Senior Mobile Engineer.

Strong knowledge of Swift, Kotlin, Java, React Native, Flutter, or similar mobile technologies.

Experience designing mobile architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization).

Solid understanding of APIs, authentication flows, and backend integration.

Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Proficiency in Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools (JUnit, XCTest, Detox, Appium).

Knowledge of security for mobile applications (OWASP Mobile).

Experience with mobile deployment processes (App Store, Google Play).

Nice to Have

Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Experience with real-time features (WebSockets, streaming, push notifications).

Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes, and cloud automation.

Experience with monitoring tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, Datadog, New Relic).

Experience working in global, distributed remote teams.
